Thanks to all of you who continue to pray for missionary needs and opportunities on Grace Ministries International’s new and established fields around the world. The Lord continues to answer your prayers. Less than a month ago GMI’s Board approved Frosty and Cathy Hansen as missionary candidates to serve in Bolivia alongside GMI missionaries Dan and Mary Sue Reed. Before Frosty became the President of the Grace Gospel Fellowship in 2004 they served as missionaries in Bolivia which has continued to weigh heavily on their hearts. Now they have felt led to return there to use their God-given talents to minister to the Bolivian people. This is a couple with a tremendous amount of ability, experience, and most importantly, a desire to see others come to know Jesus as Savior and to grow in their faith so they too can serve others. If you would like to join their team to help them reach their monthly support goal of $4,614 for both ministry and living expenses and/or give a special gift to help with the cost of travel, set-up costs and a vehicle, click HERE and then click on the donate button.
Last month I wrote you about Jerry and Sandi Bomers, missionary candidates to Paraguay, which is GMI’s newest field. Back then I mentioned that they had raised two-thirds of their monthly support. Now that figure has reached 80%! Once again, we praise the Lord for His provision. Still they need to raise around $1,000 in monthly support so they can leave for the field in October. Would you join their team so they can serve in this country where just 5% of the population knows Jesus Christ as Savior? Vision 2023 is GMI’s ten-year strategic plan to open eight new fields and significantly enlarge our missionary family by the year 2023. Having opened fields in Bonaire, Nicaragua, and Paraguay since December 2013, we continue to forge ahead looking to see where we might open the next fields. As a follow up to GMI missionary Talo Vergara’s survey trip to Western Panama in June, a team of seven from Iglesia Biblica de la Gracia (Grace Bible Church in Alajuela, Costa Rica), including GMI missionaries Chuck and Joy Befus, took a second survey trip to the same region of Panama focusing on the area surrounding the city of David. Pray for GMI as we continue to evaluate the possibility of opening this new field.
Likewise, pray for GMI missionaries Kennedy and Sofia Simtowe as they start the process of submitting paperwork to the government to begin serving in Mozambique where they are already working with local churches affiliated with GMI.
Praise the Lord along with us for His provision!
Pressing towards the goal,
