Valentine’s Night and Community Center Outreach- A Ministry in Bonaire

carlosdenise2GMI is excited about the partnerships being made around the world and the way that these opportunities are opening more doors for the gospel to be shared even more broadly. We are thankful for Carlos and Denise Brunk. They were accepted by the GMI board in December as our newest Partners. They first began their ministry in 1991 pastoring Iglesia Biblica which was the first Grace church on the island of Curacao just off the coast of Venezuela. They moved to Holland and founded a Grace church there in 2001 and are now living on the island of Bonaire, just east of Curacao, meeting with a core group of people since September to establish a church there. They have exciting things to share about what the Lord is doing in and through them. Please read the letter below from Carlos, an update of their ministry in Bonaire and the doors the Lord is opening. Please also join me in prayer for this couple and their ministry.

“Dear Partners,

Our mission is to plant more grace churches in the Caribbean and Europe.

This is our first year as Partners with GMI. We hope by the grace of God that you will continue to support our ministry in Bonaire through prayer.

Please pray that God may open more doors to share the Gospel of Grace in Bonaire.

A community center leader asked us to share bible stories to their kids once a week in area of our church. We hope in this way to get in contact with parents of the children and share Christ also with them.

Denise started last week. The leaders and the kids loved it. Denise is asked now to share bible stories once a week to two groups of kids. Here below you can see Denise with the kids.

This week on Valentine Day we are planning to show an evangelistic film for couples & singles in a community center in a new area. Below is the picture of the Flyer that went out as an invite to this event.

Until next time.

In His Service,

Carlos & Denise Brunk”

“I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.”
