The Hunts are in the Netherlands and enjoying every minute. They recently wrote to us talking a little bit about their experience so far. As told by Clare and Nedra Hunt,
Holland is a very beautiful country!! We love it!! Almere – the city where we are living is part of the province of Flevoland. This area was reclaimed from the sea and building of the city was started in the mid 1970s. Almere is almost 19 feet below sea level. There are canals throughout the city. They divide the city into neighborhoods. On our morning walks God blesses us with the beauty of them and the surrounding areas. There are a lot of different birds and ducks.
Since our arrival we have been overwhelmed and amazed by:
The warmth and graciousness of the people
Their love and hunger for the Word and Grace truth
Their desire to evangelize and increase their outreach ministry
Their need to move from a limited rental building to their own building
Our schedule Tuesday through Sunday includes:
Sessions on Bible study principles
Assurance of salvation
Teaching them how to prepare sermons and Bible studies
Bible surveys and studies on various books of the Bible
Church growth principles
Prayer and counseling sessions
Presenting principles and methods of teaching children
Personal growth and encouragement through Bible studies with women
