How Did It Go in Uruguay?

2012 EXITE Team

Ricki Anne Zanella reports that they praise God for the EXITE team which ministered there in Montevideo, Uruguay, June 29 to July 11. They gave God their all as they built a beautiful, functional drop ceiling in their all-purpose room with recycled wood from donated pallets; remodeled a children’s classroom; painted doors, walls and exterior buildings; led the evangelistic outreach and helped with their Good Samaritan Meal; were involved in every level of children’s through young adult’s ministries; shared in their church service; built new relationships with their brothers and sisters in Uruguay; and experienced much of the culture including the cold and rainy winter weather. They were the first short-term mission team ever to go to Uruguay, and they left their mark in the lives of many. Their servant’s attitude, diligent work ethic, and love for their “neighbor” refreshed, encouraged, and challenged the congregation. The people of Uruguay say, “Thank you and praise God for you, EXITE team!!!”

Maybe you’ll want to join the EXITE team in 2013!
